Based on the official invitation from the Iraq Development
Platform, The Iraqi Cement Producers Association participated in the Iraq
Energy Conference 2026, held on 28–29 January, 2026, at the Mövenpick Hotel –
Baghdad, under the patronage of the Prime Minister of Iraq, with the attendance
of senior officials, experts, and representatives from the energy and
industrial sectors.
The Association was represented by its President, Eng. Ammar
Al-Saadi. This participation reflects the importance of integration between the
energy and industrial sectors, and highlighted the role of cement plants in
applying modern technologies that enhance production efficiency while
preserving the environment, in alignment with the Iraqi government’s vision for
sustainable development.
