The Association of Cement Manufacturers in Iraq

The Association of Cement Manufacturers in Iraq is a non-profit, non-governmental organization which established in 2015 under the Non-Governmental Organizations Law No. (12) of 2010, with registration certificate number (1D77778). Its mission is to preserve the local cement industry, promote continuous development, expand the use of cement, and contribute to Iraq's urban development. Since its inception, our association has worked diligently to secure decisions aimed at protecting the cement industry, culminating in the Cabinet Resolution No. 409 of 2015, which took effect on January 1, 2016, prohibiting the importation of cement.This decision has significantly contributed to the prosperity of this vital industry and has prevented the outflow of hard currency from the country.
